What’s the Deal with Dairy?
If you don’t have hormonal issues and are very healthy, consuming a low to moderate amount of dairy can be okay. Research shows that the best dairy to eat is whole fat, plain dairy. Everyone should avoid yogurt with added sugar etc.
What if you are sensitive to dairy or have hormonal issues like PCOS? It is recommended to limit dairy, it has been shown to be an inflammatory food in some people. Research has not shown that you can never eat dairy to control your PCOS. Women did do better in PCOS studies who ate at most 1 serving of whole fat plain dairy per day compared to women who did not moderate their dairy consumption. Sad news considering that I LOVE DAIRY!
